Student discount
Though most students live on a tight budget, there are ways of making your money go further. If you are a member of a student union, you are entitled to a College card (Studentkortet). This card gives you a discount on food, travel by train, plane and bus in Sweden, insurance on your belongings, subscriptions to newspapers etc. As a student, you also have access to discounts from local shops in Linköping and Norrköping and subsidised exercise through your LiU-card.
