Licentiate degree
Licentiate is a possible first level in the postgraduate studies. 120 Higher Education Credits of doctoral studies and a thesis of at least 60 Higher Education Credits must be completed to qualify for a licentiate degree.
Doctorate (Ph.D.)
To qualify for a Ph.D., the initial degree must be followed by at least 240 Higher Education Credits of additional studies on a postgraduate level, including a publicly defended thesis of at least 120 Higher Education Credits.
