Many international students will be offered accommodation through the International Office (IO) during their studies at Linköping University. If you have not been offered accommodation through IO, please see KOMBO for advice.
We can only change your room if there is applicable circumstances. For example, mold, pipe issues and so forth. Issues with corridor mates, unclean common areas, and a dirty room is not acceptable arguments to change the room. If the room is not tidy when you arrive, it is very important to contact Studentbostäder directly. Do not un-pack any belongings until the cleaning company have completed their cleaning.
Cancel your accommodation
If you would like to cancel your accommodation, and you have signed the contract, a three months cancellation period will apply. In addition, accommodation can only be cancelled from the 1st day of every month. If you arrive on the 2nd day of the month, the cancellation will be noted from the 1st of the following month. For example, if you cancel the accommodation on 1 February, the contract will expire on 1 May. If you cancel the accommodation on 3 February, it will be noted from 1 March, and not expire until 1 June.
Extend your contract
