Welcome to the Helpdesk pages
If you have computer-related problems with, for example, e-mail and passwords or if you have any questions regarding the public computer rooms and their software, you are welcome to get in touch with Linköping University’s computer support/helpdesk for students.
If you have lost your activation key, forgotten the password to your e-mail account or had your LiU-ID deleted, please contact the Student Service Desk.
Opening hours:
The normal opening hours for computer support/helpdesk are:
- Mondays and Thursdays 08.00 - 19.00
- Tuesdays, Wendesdays and Fridays 08.00 - 17.00
You can reach the helpdesk by phone at +46 (0)13-28 5898. Special “hotline” telephones directly to the computer support are available outside the main Student Service Desk in Zenit building and outside room 2149 in Key building. You can also send e-mails to computer support/helpdesk or send error reports via an online form.
If you have problems with the wireless network, it’s important that you provide a detailed description of the problem, with the following information: LiU-ID, MAC address, IP address, at what time a connection attempt was made and in which building.
