IT-services in Student Portal
The Student Portal is an Internet service where you as a student login and carry out several study administrative routines. Here you can register for a single subject course, or for a programme, sign up for examinations and request transcripts of records. You login to the Student Portal with your LiU-ID at https://www3.student.liu.se/portal/eng.

Every different study administrative service has its own chapter:
Exam registration: It is obligatory to sign up in advance for a scheduled written examination. The deadline is ten working days before the examination date. It is also important that you cancel your registration for the examination if you cannot participate.
Course application/selection: Here you can apply for a single subject course/summer course or apply for programme courses at all faculties.
Course evaluations: In Student Portal there is an internet based system for course evaluations which is used by the Institute of Technology, and some courses within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
Study results: You find your study result in the Student Portal earliest the day after they have been registered to the study administrative system Ladok.
Registration: In order to get credits for your studies, it is obligatory to register for your programme/courses each semester. All students have access to do this via the Student Portal.
Schedule: Students at the Institute of Technology and students in some courses at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences can find their schedule in the Student Portal.
Study break: Request for study break can only be done for whole semester and for two semesters at time.
Settings: Here you can choose if you want to read the Student Portal in Swedish or English, register your homepage, forward your student e-mail and much more.
Student services: Here you can request transcripts of records, change address and order application forms for degree certificates.
LiU-card: Here you can check your LiU-card’s status, change/set the PIN-code, or block the card.
Find a student: Here you can search for other students. Note that each student can choose what information is shown about them. You do this under Settings.
