Linköping University has produced policy documents on how the working environment should work.

The cooperation between Linköping University and students is governed by co-operation agreements.

Guidelines have been drawn up for safety work at Linköping University. The aim of safety work at Linköping University is for staff, students, information and property at the university to be protected against various threats, at the same time as ensuring that the university is open and easily accessible.

Legislation and regulations

The working environment and working environment work are governed by legislation and regulations. For working environment work, the most important legislation is the Work Environment Act.

The Swedish Work Environment Authority has also issued a work environment regulation that provides more detailed regulations on working on systematic working environment work.

The National Swedish Agency for Education has issued a regulation that deals specifically with how to work on the working environment for pupils and students.

The three students' unions also work on the working environment at the university. They are also good to make contact with when it comes to other perspectives of the study situation for students, such as student influence and monitoring courses.

There are many sections at the university. It is they who appoint the working environment representatives and who deal with issues that affect your particular course in different ways.

The Student Health Care Center works with both preventing ill-health and treating students’ ailments. The staff work professionally on helping you with your reflections.
