Mumps outbreak at LiU

Three exchange students at LiU have fallen ill with mumps, according to the Swedish Institute for Communicable Disease Control. The disease is relatively uncommon in Sweden due to a comprehensive vaccination programme.

Worried students and staff should contact the Student Health Care centre at LiU.
