Apply for LiU International Scholarships

Fee-paying students who have achieved excellent academic results from their first year of studies on a master’s programme at Linköping University are eligible to apply for a LiU International Scholarship for their second year of studies.Deadline is June 15.

Students who were awarded scholarship for their first year of studies, are required to have completed the minimum of 75% of courses by July 1st. Note that you need to apply actively even if you have been awarded scholarship for year 1. If you did not have a scholarship during your first year, but have achieved excellent results, you are also welcome to apply, provided you satisfy the criteria.

Deadline for submission of the LiU International Scholarship Application Form for the second year of studies is June 15th. However, your academic results and whether you satisfy the requirements will be checked on or after July 1st, so you still have extra time to have last credits registered until this date – just make sure to submit your application in time.

Nationality rules for LiU International Scholarships apply for the second year as well, which means that the scholarship programme is not open for students from the following twelve countries: Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Instead, students from these countries are encouraged to apply for the Swedish Institute Study Scholarship.
