IT-services in the Student Portal

The Student Portal is an Internet service where you as a student can carry out several study administrative routines. Here you can register for a single subject course or for a programme, sign up for examinations and request transcripts of records. You log in to the Student Portal with your LiU-ID.

Exam registration

It is obligatory to sign up in advance for a scheduled written examination. The deadline is ten workadays before the examination date. It is also important that you cancel your registration for the examination if you cannot participate.

Course application/elaction

Here you can apply for a single subject course/summer course or apply for programme courses at all faculties.

Course evaluations

In the Student Portal there is an internet based system for course evaluations which is used by the Institute of Technology and some courses within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Study results

You find your study result in the Student Portal earliest the day after they have been registered to the study administrative system Ladok.

Registration

Any first-time or previously registered student who has been admitted to a single subject course, summer course or study programme can register in the Student Portal.

Study break

Request for study break can only be done for whole semester and for two semesters at time.

Settings

Here you can choose if you want to read the Student Portal in Swedish or English, register your homepage, forward your student e-mail and much more.

Services

Here you can request transcripts of records, change address and order application forms for degree certificates.

LiU-card

Here you can check your LiU-card’s status, change the PIN-code, or block the card.

Find a student

Here you can search for other students. Note that every student self can choose what should be shown in public about them. You do it under Settings.
