Student Service Desk

You can find the main Student Service Desk in Linköping (Zenit) and in Norrköping (Kåkenhus). Students at the Faculty of Health Science can receive assistance at the Student Affairs office, University Hospital. All departments have a Service Desk at their secretariat that usually can advise you.

At the Student Service Desks you can carry out most student administrative matters, such as pick up course catalogues, application forms and get your LiU-card,( for campus US check next section), or get assistance if you have problems with your registration, lost your activation key, forgotten the password to your e-mail account or had your LiU-ID deleted.

All other questions about IT-services, please contact the Computer support/helpdesk for students.

New Student

As a new student you create a temporary LiU-ID on www.liu.se/admitted. Follow the instructions and read more about which IT-services you can access before you begin studying here.

After you have attended the roll-call you can register for your programme/courses. The day after your registration you can collect an activation key at one of the main Student Service Desks and activate your regular LiU-ID, which also provides access to your e-mail account. At Campus US you can pick up activation key and LiU Card at LiU-Service, entrance 65.

Student Portal - 24 hour service

In the Student portal you get access to your academic record and registrations, you can register for exams and courses, change your postal and download software. A LiU-ID is necessary to get access.

Application forms

Most application forms can be downloaded (pdf) from this site. Forms differ among the faculties, make sure to select the Faculty or Institute that applies for you.

On-campus student information

Information from the Division of Student Services is displayed on bulletin boards in the C-building, Zenit and Kåkenhus. A closed circuit TV system displays student-related information in the C-building.

If you contact us by e-mail please include your full name/civic registration number or student number and the study programme or course you are enrolled in. Note! Only re-registrations can be done by e-mail.

The Student Service Desk can help you if you discover that:

  • You have problems with your registration.
  • You cannot locate the lecture room where classes are held.
  • You aren't sure who to turn to in any academic matte.
