Swedish language courses for degree students - academic year 21/22

Why not take the opportunity to learn some Swedish while studying a degree programme at Linköping university? It might be for social, cultural or career purposes or just out of curiosity.

We offer beginner’s courses in Swedish open to international degree students and exchange students at LiU. The courses are part time with lectures once a week during the semester. They are divided into different levels, which means that admission is depending on your previous knowledge in Swedish. Each course bears 7,5 credits/semester.

Please note that the courses cannot be included in your master’s degree from LiU.

Application is possible first when you have been admitted to a programme at LiU. You will then receive more information.

For EU-citizens the courses are free of charge. Fee paying students need to pay tuition fee according to the information below.
