Eased restrictions for exam halls at LiU
Starting 29 September, it will be possible to fill exam halls at LiU to the capacity they had before the pandemic. This means that more students will be able to take exams at the same time, and that more exams can take place on site in university premises.
The restrictions for how premises can be used have been removed, but the advice and recommendations introduced to prevent the spread of infection remain in place. It is, therefore, important to continue to use hand sanitiser or wash your hands often, and avoiding being on the premises longer than necessary.
Some exams may take place in the form of distance exams in the future. Contact your examiner or course coordinator for information about whether an exam will be held on campus or as a distance exam.
It is also important to remember that a requirement to register in advance for exams was introduced in February 2021. The registration period opens 30 days before the exam and closes 10 days before.
